The largest motorcycle company of Indian automobile industry, Hero MotoCorp is now spreading its wings in global market. Recently, the company has opened a new manufacturing plant in Colombia as considering the heavy demand of Hero motorcycles globally.

The Indian motorcycle manufacturer, has unveiled a new 110cc scooter, named Hero Dash, in Colombia. The scooter was unveiled first time at the 2014 Auto Expo in Delhi. It comes to attract the unisex buyers and its manufacturing is based on the Maestro' platform. Talking about its power, the scooter is powered by an air-cooled, four stroke and 110cc motor which churns out a maximum power of 8.5 BHP and a paramount torque of 8.5 Nm.

In terms of designing, the Dash will come with old school features such as LED tail light, side stand indicator and USB mobile charger. It receives a new fresh look as it is featured with similar shape of Maestro and redesign its body panels. The scooter also gets a dynamic balancing power as it is incorporated with alloy wheels and telescopic fork at front side. The braking duties are managed by the 130mm drum brakes at both side, rear and front.
As per the reports, the Hero Dash will be launched very soon in Indian two wheeler market and will be called as Maestro Edge. It means that the name of the Hero new scooter, Hero Dash will be used in global market. Likely, the Hero Maestro Edge will be launched by the end of this month, ahead the festival season. The Hero Dash will be available in 3 color scheme as White, Black and Red. Fuel economy of the scooter is around 68 KMPL and fuel tank could hold 6 liters fuel. When it will be launched in Indian, it will compete against its rivals i.e. Honda Activa 3G, Yamaha Alpha and TVS Wego.
