Till now many cars manufacturers hiked the prices for the upcoming year and now Tata Motors has also joined this line-up and will hike the prices of its model range by up to Rs 40,000. The prices will be into effect from January 1, 2019.
The brand took this step because of the rising cost of inputs and fuels. Mayank Pareek, President (Passenger Vehicle Business Unit), Tata Motors in a statement said, “The changing market conditions, rising input costs and various external economic factors have compelled us to consider this price increase”.
He also added that the brand is pretty confident about their present portfolio and the upcoming Harrier SUV that the growth will be maintained stably in 2019.
