Ultimately, the supersport model from Japanese giant manufacturer, the Honda CBR1000RR has got into its 2018 edition. The company put this flagship model on sale at the asking price of INR 14.78 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi). It’s a great opportunity for those who dreamt of own this bike as it gets affordable by around INR 2.01 lakhs from the last model. Whereas, its top end SP variant that witnesses the reduction of INR 2.54 lakhs, will now be priced at INR 18.68 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi).
The reason behind introducing the upgraded edition of this superport variants is the announced reduction in the customs duties by the Indian government. The CBU models now get cheaper by 25 percent to 50 percent. Various other manufacturers are also joining the campaign of conveying reduced prices benefits to the customers.
Power packed with 999cc in-line four cylinder motor behind the fairing, the CBR1000RR uses the monstrous power of 191.6hp at 13,000rpm along with 114Nm of torque at 11,000rpm.
The electronic package on the CBR1000R consists of standard features like 9-level traction control system, selectable engine braking and electronic steering damper. Whereas, the top end CBR1000RR SP model gets the additional fitments of quickshifter and semi-active Ohlins electronic control suspension.
