The most awaited sports motorcycle from the Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer, Honda Motorcycles, has finally broke all the covers and has come in front of everyone at the INTERMOT, 2014. The sports motorcycle is named as Honda CBR 300R. According to the rumors, the motorcycle will be making its way towards India by the coming year, 2015 or might be after its official launch in the global market. Although, it's already been revealed by the manufacturer in the United Kingdom carrying a price tag of £4,299 (Approx Rs 4.4 Lakhs).
For the first time, the Honda CBR 300R has made its official debut at the Chinese Motorcycle show, which was being held in the year 2013. And, then the sports motorcycle was showcased at the EICMA, 2013. It is expected to be a successful successor of the quarter-liter sports motorcycle, Honda CBR 250R. The quarter-liter motorcycle will also be available with some new updates, as a revised edition in select Asian markets.
Talking about the styling carried by the Honda CBR 300R, the sports motorcycle is a fully-faired motorcycle carrying amazing sporty features from top to bottom. The design and style of the motorcycle is more than enough to describe the success history of its senior siblings. The newly designed fuel tank, stepped-cum-split seat, chrome plated silencer and its dual headlamps, which is derived from the Honda CBR 1000R, gives this motorcycle an amazing and superb look.
The mechanism, which has been carried by the Honda CBR 300R, is a bit more than the quarter-liter motorcycle. The upcoming motorcycle will be featuring a re-tuned version of CBR 250R's engine. The Honda boffins have increased the size of the cylinder to make it a 286cc motor with increased power and torque figures. The heavier the engine becomes, more heavier the balancer, it would require.
The company will introduce new shafts and engine mount to balance the engine assembly. The Honda CBR 300R will get its power from a single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine, which is capable to generate a total power of 30.4 BHP and 27.07 Nm of peak torque. The Honda CBR 300R will be arriving in the market by the coming year, 2015.
