The components needed for the assembly line of the Jeep compact SUV has been imported from South Korea. The components will be used to connect the body with the drivetrain, which is the important part of the assembly lineup.
Meanwhile, Fiat is also looking forward to expand the local Ranjangaon plant in order to carry out the normal production. The latest arrival of the fresh investment in the production line up clearly indicates that the automaker plans to export the product to other shores.
The Jeep compact SUV will be placed as an entry level C-segment vehicle such as Jeep Renegade. Moreover, it is based on the similar modular platform that underpins the Renegade and Fiat 500X. It will be offered with petrol and diesel engine variants. The automaker has planned to launch the car by the end of this year.
