The Austrian sports bike manufacturer has been planning to launch its most awaited sports bike in the coming month of September. The company has continued testing this bike for so long, as the sports bike was also being spied many times, at the time of testing. Well, no one has any kind of clue about the launch of this sports bike, but according to a report the KTM RC390 will get launched in the month of September, 2014.
The KTM RC390 is the first faired performance motorcycle by the company. After Duke 200 and Duke 390, this will be the third bike form the KTM, which will get launched in the Indian market. However, there are some more rumors in the market about the line-up models of KTM for the year 2015. The 690 Duke and 1290 Super Duke R might also get launched in the first quarter of the coming year, 2015.
The KTM RC390 is featuring an exhaust tail pipe just below the belly, twin headlamps, wearing a wide and angular livery with an aggressive looks along with a clip on its handlebars. The KTM RC390 is based upon the flagship model of the company, i.e the RC Series. The RC390 is the big brother of RC200 and RC125. It is also expected that the RC200 will also get launched along with its big brother. According to a report, some particular dealerships of Bajaj have also started advance bookings for this motorcycle.
The power plant of the KTM RC390 is powered by a liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine, which gives an engine displacement of 375cc. The engine of this performance bike is capable to produce a total power of 44 BHP and a maximum torque of 35Nm. This light weight is perfectly graced with an orange colored trellis frame along with a superb combination of black, orange and white fairing with a KTM plotted over the body.
As, we all know that KTM has partnered with Bajaj in India, and opened up a manufacturing plant in Pune. So, it is also believed that the Bajaj is also planning to launch its first fully-faired bike, Pulsar 200SS before the RC390. The KTM RC390 will come in India carrying a price tag of Rs 2.4 Lacs.
