The Gurgaon based EV manufacturer, Li-ions Elektrik Solutions has launched its first-ever product the Spock in the country. In terms of pricing, it will cost you in between INR 65,000-99,000 (on-road).
The Spock features a design language favourable for commercial purpose. It gets a large basket in the front and a luggage box replacing pillion seat at the rear. As per the surfaced reports, Li-ion Elektrik has joined hands with Bigbasket for supplying the Spock as a delivery vehicle. Also, 60 per cent of the total sold Spock until now, are meant for serving the e-commerce giants. Besides this, the company is looking forward to collaborating with Amazon and Swiggy to make its scooters part of brands’ delivery chains lineup.

The Spock runs with the support of a 2.1kW motor that gets power from a 2.9kWh swappable battery. It is rated to reach the top speed of 45kmph. The Spock offers a travel range of 130km in Eco mode and 100km in Power mode. In addition to this, a Reverse mode is also provided with the Spock EV. Among major highlights, the scooter gets features like a GPS navigation, an all-digital instrument cluster, a USB charger and an anti-theft alarm as optional. The low seat height of 760mm and lightweight of 90kg without battery makes it easy to manoeuvre for most riders. Rides on 90/90-12 tyres at both ends, this e-scooter has a ground clearance of 200mm.
The claimed figures for the Spock are pretty impressive if compared with others available in the EV segment. However, the output figures returned in real-world scenario will tell the truth about its performance.
