Delhi Auto Expo 2018 has all the ingredients for a gala event. Automakers from around the world have gathered to showcase their best and premium products. India’s very own Mahindra is also all geared up for the event. Mahindra has been very vocal about the future of mobility. From tweets to Tesla owner Elon Musk to making its own EV’s, Mahindra has been the frontrunner in the Indian EV market. Rightly so the Automakers pavilion at this year's Auto Expo has been themed around ‘Future of Mobility’.

Staying true to its motto of the 3 C's based upon Clean, Connected & Convenient factors, Mahindra has a line up of six EV’s for the event. Two of these are based on completely new concepts. Recently, Mahindra has tested two of its electric mobility concepts. The concept EV’s compact proportion and boxy design make them ideal for city dwellers. Also, speculations are high that along with these two, Mahindra may showcase the KUV100 electric based on the XUV Aero, Mahindra’s showstopper at the last Expo.

The press release from the Mahindra media team also affirmed launch of an “aspirational global SUV”. Toted as Mahindra's new premium offering, the SUV will in all likeliness be ranked above XUV500 as the Automakers new flagship model. Rumors doing the rounds suggest that the SUV might draw inspiration from the second-gen Ssangyong Rexton.
