Mahindra XUV300 BS6 launched in the 1.2-litre turbo petrol trim, thus it becomes the first vehicle from this automobile manufacturer to comply with the upcoming BS6 emission norms. The Price of Mahindra XUV300 starts from ₹ 8.30 lakh for the base W4 model and going up to ₹ 11.84 lakh (ex-showroom, India) for the W8 (Optional Pack) model. The BS6-compliant models cost around ₹ 20,000 more than their BS4 siblings.
Mahindra touched this milestone while it has begun updating the entire lineup of cars to meet BS6 emission norms. The Mahindra XUV300 has both petrol and diesel engine variants. The XUV300 1.2-litre turbo petrol motor generates 110 bhp and 200 Nm of torque. Whereas the 1.5-liter turbo diesel powertrain delivers 115 bhp and 300 Nm of torque. The XUV300 BS4 and BS6 petrol variants feature a standard 6-speed manual gearbox, whereas the diesel powertrain has a 6-speed auto-shift transmission option as well.
If we talk about features then the Mahindra XUV300 BS6 shares its platform with SsangYong Tivoli and comes in four variants W4, W6, W8 and Mahindra XUV300 W8 (Optional Pack). The notable specification highlights include projector headlamps with LED DRLs, heated ORVMs, electric sunroof, diamond-cut alloy wheels, dual-zone FATC, 17.78 cm touchscreen infotainment system, front parking sensors, cruise control, seven airbags, disc brakes on all four wheels, and ESP with roll-over mitigation etc.

The XUV300 will be available in six monotone colour i.e. Pearl White, D-Sat Silver, Red Rage, Aquamarine, Napoli Black and Sunburst Orange and two dual-tone options include Red Rage with White Roof and Aquamarine with White Roof. The Dual-tone option costs an additional ₹15,000 and is available on W8 (Optional Pack) only.

Earlier this year, Mahindra & Mahindra had revealed that Bolero Power Plus was BS6 certified by ICAT but it is still missing from the lineup. But with this new launch, Mahindra XUV300 started a healthy rival against competitors like Tata Nexon, Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Ford EcoSport, and Hyundai Venue.
