On November 21, 2018, new-generation Maruti Ertiga was introduced in the Indian market by Maruti Suzuki. Same like Ciaz sedan, the MPV has a new 105hp, 1.5-litre petrol powertrain, 90hp and 1.3-litre diesel mill. Both the powertrains are coupled to a 5-speed manual gearbox with a 4-speed torque converter automatic which is present with the petrol motor.
The accessories list of new MPV has disclosed that petrol variants can be furnished with a dealer fitted CNG kit. The capacity of the kit is 14kg which is same as last-generation CNG and from the dealers, it also offers a one-year warranty. The CNG kit costs Rs 65,000 which includes insurance and charges for RTO.
The new Ertiga will be furnished with a factory-fitted CNG kit but this model is still a few months away from the launch. In the meantime, by attaching the dealer-level CNG kit, the customers can get the utility of the low-cost fuel.

The price of the New Ertiga for petrol variants will be between Rs 7.44-9.95 lakh and for diesel variants it will be Rs 8.84-10.90 lakh. The MPV will be sold from the Maruti Suzuki Arena showroom and will be available in 10 variants. The new Ertiga will compete the rivals- the Honda BR-V and the Mahindra Marazzo in the MPV market.
