Ultimately, the new Suzuki Gixxer SF ABS which was recently revealed via a brochure leak has launched in India. The Suzuki has rolled the model in two variants- the carbureted (standard) and the fuel injected (FI) versions. The price for both the trims is INR 1.08 lakh and Rs 1.13 lakh (both on-road, Delhi) respectively. Whilst, the deliveries have been started since its launch.
The newly-launched Gixxer SF ABS variant was seen with a new sporty graphics other than the equipment of advanced ABS safety feature and fuel injection system. Equipped with disc brakes at both wheels, the Gixxer SF ABS is a motorcycle with a single channel ABS, means ABS on the front brakes only.
The new Gixxer with Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) is available in three colors of black, red and gray. Other than this, the embellishment of special SP logo on the fairing and new graphics on the fuel tank and front cowl are new attachments on the bike.

If the powertrain is concerned, the Suzuki Gixxer SF with ABS gets the propelling power from the same 154.9cc, SOHC, 2 valves, fuel injected engine of the outgoing. The mill is said to make out the maximum power of 14.8 PS at 8,000 rpm and the peak torque of 14 Nm at 6,000 rpm. All the generated power are dispatched to the rear wheel with the coupled a 5-speed transmission.
The Gixxer, which is a runaway success for the SMIPL, is offered in both naked street fighter and faired iteration. The streetfighter Gixxer has the standard model along with its special edition (SP). While, its faired iteration is available in the total of three trims including standard, SP, and FI (Fuel Injection).
