The much awaited Porsche Macan which was in India for the homologation procedure not so long back has been launched finally in the market with the damn so high price of INR 1 Crore ex-showroom. The car has been launched in the SUV market to take on against the likes of Audi Q5 and newly launched BMW X5 as well. However, the price tag of this car could hurt its chances to thrive in India, but still, a few could be seen on the roads.
The company has offered all the international level features in the Macan like fully variable all-wheel drive, lightning package, bi-xenon lamps, 3-zone climate control, electrically operated tailgate and right height adjustable air suspension as well. The Macan 2ill be available in the 2 variants as 3.0 Litre V6 diesel with 241 bhp power and 580 Nm of torque, and a beast called 3.6 Litre V6 twin turbo petrol which is able to produce 349 bhp power and 550 Nm torque. The petrol version of the car can hit the 100 km/h in just 4.8 seconds before hitting the top speed mark of 266 km/h and the diesel version has the top peed of 230 km/h.
The petrol version of the car has the price tag of whopping INR 1.1 Crore ex-showroom Delhi and the diesel one comes at INR 1 Crore ex-showroom. The car has many hopes on it to perform well in the growing luxury car market in India, where BMW and Audi are already doing well.
