While the ardently awaited motto show is only two days ahead from now, some of the prominent facts about the highly popular Royal Enfield Himalayan has been enlightened revealing a bit more essential information about the Tourer. Though, the official launch is going to take place in March this year, sources notified that the company plans for the bike's world premiere tomorrow in New Delhi.
Major details, which have been revealed are about the price and power specs of the bike along with some other interesting notifying facts. Power into the RE Himalayan will come from a 414cc, oil-cooled, SOHC engine that is forced to produce 24.5BHP of power and 32NM of torque. It has been disclosed that the engine, which was rumored to be codenamed as LS400 is now called as D71. Debuting as the first entry-level adventure Tourer, the bike gets stuff like panniers at the front to clasp some handy belongings and other things. The motorcycle has been equipped with 21-inch front and 17-inch Ceat tyres to handle tough terrains smoothly. Apart from this, it gets its braking duties performed by dual disc brakes excluding ABS. Other perceptible bits include a transparent windscreen, digital-analog instrument cluster, LED tail lights, spilt up seats, fragile fuel tank, upsweft exhaust, spoke wheels and on-off road tyres.

Besides, all the aforementioned details, price of the machine has also been revealed. The Himalayan will be available with an impressive price tag of INR 1.60 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) and will blow of its glamour following this month in March. The production ready versions have also been spied in the black and white variants prior to its unveiling tomorrow.
