Suzuki Gixxer SF, Officially Debuting Tomorrow

The Suzuki Gixxer SF is all set to make its debut tomorrow, 7th April, 2015. The invitations were already sent out by the manufacturer a few days ago. On one side, it is getting ready for its official launching and on the other hand the Suzuki Gixxer SF unveils its appearance at the local dealership. The bookings were also being commenced for the upcoming faired sports motorcycle by paying an initial amount of Rs 5000. However, the official prices are yet to be declared in the launching ceremony. But, being a faired street-fighter, it is expected to be priced in between Rs 1 Lacs to 1.10 Lacs.

The fully-faired street-fighter is completely sharing its mechanism with its naked younger sibling, Suzuki Gixxer. The faired version is built around a single-cylinder, 2-Valve engine carrying an engine displacement of 154.9cc. The liquid-cooled engine is tuned to deliver a maximum power of 14.6 BHP @ 8000 RPM and a 14 Nm of peak torque @ 6000 revs. The 154.9cc displaced engine is mated to a 5-speed transmission.

Cosmetically, the Suzuki Gixxer SF is built around the very same chassis, which was used to design the naked version. The chassis is then incorporated by the Telescopic suspension at the front and rear gets 7-step adjustable mono suspension. The stopping power has been taken care by single disc brake at the front and drum brake at the rear. It is featuring the same tubeless tyres, maintenance free and LED headlamps. Being a fully-faired street-fighter, it will be making its appearance as an entry-level sports motorcycle, rivaling the strongly positioned Yamaha R15.

The Suzuki Gixxer SF will be offered in three paint schemes; Black, White and Blue. The street-fighter receives amazing graphics over the bodywork. The dual exhaust tail has been shared with the Gixxer carrying a muffler. Another highlight is the contrast colored bezel layer on the tyres. As far, we know almost all the things about the upcoming Suzuki Gixxer SF, but still we are waiting for this motorcycle to come in an official manner.
