Suzuki’s new offering the Swift Sport Bee Racing was launched recently in Italy. It comes with a price tag of 18,000 Euros (INR 14.36 lakh approx). The sports car will be available online exclusively. Interested buyers can pre-book before April 18, 2018.
The sports car has had some cosmetic touch ups done. Apart from the exterior, there is little change when compared to the stock Swift Sport. The exterior this time is painted in Champion Yellow and Dubai Black Metallic shade. It is further complemented by contrasting racing stripes running across the entire length of the sports car from the bonnet to the rear bumper. The 17-inch dual tone alloy coupled with the dual exhaust outlet are instant eye catchers, something that would please every sports car owner.

Below the roof, the sports car houses semi-bucket style seats with red stitching and lava red component inserts. The yellow beast is powered by a 1.4L four cylinder Boosterjet engine coupled to a 6-speed manual gearbox. With 140 HP of Power and 230 Nm of maximum torque at its disposal, the Suzuki BeeRacing is the most powerful Swift variant in the world. It can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in just 8.1 seconds and can cloak a top speed of 210 Km/h. The car’s red highlight seems to be in perfect sync with the interior.
The chances of Suzuki launching this sport variant in India are next to Zero. India spec Swift however comes in two engine variants. Turbocharged engines push the car price too high for an economy driven auto market like India. Diesel is a better option for price conscious Indian buyers. A good example is of Maruti-Suzuki Baleno which was the first car to be driven by a turbocharged petrol engine. The sales figure for the car was disappointing.
