Maruti, one of the BIggest Indian automobile maker has got launched its two of the updated versions of Celerio and Celerio X in India in 2019. The prices and features have experienced a shift. The Bharti's giant car maker Maruti Suzuki has got the updated version of Celerio and Celerio X in India launched with no slight alteration in the Prices. As per the new safety norms, the decision for the updation of this hatchback has been taken. There are more standard safety kits been added to this hatchback.
Pricing
The starting price for the new Maruti 2019 Celerio has been set at 4.31 lakh rupees and for that of the Base Celerio X is Rs 4.80 lakhs, the ex-showroom prices. As per Car View.com, both of the models Maruti Celerio and Celerio X have undergone updation in safety features and are now as per the new safety norms. The safety features which have been updated include seatbelt monitors for both driver-side airbags, driver and front passenger, also parking sensors are fixed at the rear. Both of these models, the Celerio and Celerio X are now equipped with standard ABS. The Company has taken the decision to get the Cars updated such that it passes all the Government’s safety norms and could be freely adopted by the Customers.
Now, the upgrade to the safety of the model is followed by the price hike. The new Celerio’s price varies from around 3,000 to 15,000 varying from model to model. The price of the updated 2019 Maruti Suzuki Celerio X cross has been increased from Rs 4,000 to Rs 13,000. The CNG variants of the new Celerio have experienced the highest variations in the prices, whereas the price of the updated VXI model has increased to Rs 15,000 and the VXI (O) model has increased by Rs 7,000.

As such no mechanical change is seen in both the updated cars. All the other features of the 2019 Celerio Twins remains the same as the old 3-cylinder, 998cc petrol engine, which is capable of generating a power of 67bhp at 6,000rpm. It has been taken care of that with this engine the option of both the 5-speed manual and the AMT gearbox remains available. The Company claims that this engine offers a mileage of 23.1km / l.
The CNG variant with the Regular Celerio is an option available. But in the CNG variant, the performance of the engine decreases and it generates a power of 59bhp at 6,000 rpm and offers a pickup torque of 78 Nm at 3,500rpm. The CNG Celerio is made available with a 5-speed manual gearbox option and the mileage is 31.79km / kg. Though no cosmetic change is seen in both the updated models.
