Yamaha FreeGo that is a maxi-styled scooter from the Japanese bike maker has been showcased at the 2018 Indonesia Motor Show. Neatly crafted scooter comes packed with a 125 cc motor, rated to generate 9.4 hp along with 9.5 Nm of torque. The headlamp on the scooter is studded below at front apron as like the Ray scooter. In addition to this, the scooter gets 12-inches all black alloys at both wheel along with the dual tone colour scheme. The transmission setup is an automatic unit, similar to other scooters being offered in the market.
The instrument cluster on the FreeGo boasts of an all-digital display as similar to the Ntorq. Also, the facilities such as a charging socket, keyless start system with an immobiliser and an automatic start/stop technology are being offered for rider's convenience. The provided start & stop system called as the Yamaha’s Start & Stop System.
under the seat, the storage space is of 26 litres allows keeping a full face helmet easily. The fuel filler cap on the scooter is situated at the front which makes refuelling easy for the rider. The brand's patented synchronized braking system performs braking duties. While the ABS is standard fitment on the top end variant.

The Yamaha FreeGo is available in three variants including the standard FreeGo, the FreeGo S and the FreeGo S ABS. The colour option for the standard trim is Matte Black, Metallic Red, Metallic Blue and Metallic White. The other two variants, on the other hand, are being offered in Matte Black, Metallic Red, Metallic Blue and Metallic White shades. The pricing for the FreeGo starts at Rp. 18,500,000 (INR 89,962) for the standard and goes up to Rp.19,700,000 (INR 95,797), and Rp.22,500,000 (INR 1,09,413) for the S and S ABS models respectively. All the prices are applicable at dealerships in Jakarta. Here in India, if launches, the scooter will see a direct competition with the Suzuki Burgman Street 125 in the segment.
