Back in January, Acer had launched its well-built commercial laptop: C910 Chromebook, which had been claimed as an ideal proposition for education and business customers that desire outstanding Chrome performance, durable design along with a large screen. And now, tech giant has made it faster and more advanced by incorporating 5th Generation Intel Core i5-5200U Processor into device.
To remind you, first-generation models of C910 Chromebook are powered by 5th Generation Intel Core i3 and next generation Intel Celeron processors. As per Acer, its upgraded version has been designed to provide fastest performance and a pleasant computing-experience to consumers.
Here, mobility business manager at Acer America: Carlos Siqueiros has stated that “The advanced technology will boost productivity and help our education and commercial customers get the most out of their Chromebook experience for collaboration on important projects and research.”
Well, rest of the specs look identical to previous edition, the renovated variant also bears an extra durable body and features reinforced cover that withstands up to 60kg of force. Fueled by a 4-cell Lithium Ion (Li-Ion) battery, this Chrome OS-equipped gadget has been rated to confer 8 hours of battery lifespan.
Glancing at display, handheld has a 15.6-inch Active Matrix TFT Color LCD, which produces a pixel resolution of 1366 x 768p. Assimilating Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac with MIMO technology, laptop manifest itself to bestow fast and secure network connection. Apart from this, new scion of Chromebook family offers Bluetooth 4.0, USB 3.0 port, USB 2.0 port and HDMI port on connectivity front.
Coming to memory, it is arrayed with 4GB RAM along with 32GB SSD storage. The Acer C910 Chromebook has a weighing of 2.2kg and measures 393 x 256 x 24.2mm scale. Moreover, handheld has been said to initially go on sale in U.S. from the beginning of April and it will carry a price tag of $499.99 that is roughly Rs. 31,200 according to Indian currency.
