The Taiwanese Corporation specialized in advanced electronics technology, Acer looks more fervent in diversifying its every segment of tech space. Soon after announcing an advanced and faster version of C910 Chromebook, now tech giant is going to roll out its IFA 2014 participant, called Iconia Tab 10 in the marketplace of US in order to show its dominance in booming field of plus-sized handsets.
Diving into this novel invention of Acer, the main USP of gadget is incorporation of 10.1-inch Full HD display that is decked with Zero Air Gap technology, whereby it is capable to deliver extremely realistic visuals of vivid and crisp images. The assimilation of new-generation Corning Gorilla Glass protection makes the screen of device ultra-tough and scratch-resistance.
To lure the consumers, Iconia Tab 10 bears a highly effective anti-fingerprint coating, which reduces smudging and makes screen cleaning easy for a clearer, more enjoyable viewing experience, says Acer. According to Android Community, handheld is armed with a Mediatek quad-core processor and runs on Android 4.4 KitKat mobile operating system.
Coming to memory front, it bestows 2GB RAM and comprises 32GB of internal storage, which can be extend upto 128GB by using a microSD. Notably, information regarding its battery is still unclear, some of the reports are suggesting about 3450mAh, while GSMArena has claimed about 5,910mAh or 5,700mAh battery.
Moreover, Acer Iconia Tab 10 is outfitted with a 5-megapixel primary shooter alongside a 2-megapixel selfie snapper and it includes Dolby sound system to give an immersive and cinema-quality entertainment experience. The informant has affirmed that tab will go on sale in US through company's own online store as well as via other retail channels and it will cost just $249.
