The Chinese smartphone maker, Coolpad has launched a new entry-level smartphone namely Coolpad Cool 3 Plus in India. It features a 'Dewdrop' display, 13MP rear camera and a fingerprint sensor as well. The company rolled out this new Coolpad phone in two variants with configurations of 2GB RAM + 16GB storage and 3GB RAM + 32GB storage. Among other highlights, the smartphone is packed with quad-core MediaTek Helio A22 SoC, USB OTG support and Bluetooth v5.0.
In India, the price for Coolpad Cool 3 Plus starts at INR 5,999 for the 2GB RAM + 16GB storage variant and goes up to INR 6,499 for the 3GB RAM + 32GB storage option. It will be available to purchase at online e-commerce portal, Amazon.in from July 2. One can choose from the offered colour options like Ocean Blue and Cherry Black.

Coolpad Cool 3 Plus is a dual-SIM (Nano) device which gets a 5.71-inch 'Dewdrop' HD+ display with a 19:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by quad-core MediaTek Helio A22 (MT6761) SoC processor and runs on Android 9 Pie. While the support of 2GB and 3GB RAM options the smartphone enables multitasking without any hanging issue.
On the photography front, the Coolpad Cool 3 Plus features a 13-megapixel rear camera with an LED flash while an 8-megapixel camera setup is provided at the front end for shooting selfies.
The Coolpad Cool 3 Plus offers internal storage options of 16GB and 32GB which can further be expanded with the use of microSD card. In terms of connectivity, it gets Bluetooth v5.0, Wi-Fi, 4G LTE, GPS/ A-GPS and a Micro-USB port.
A host of sensors including a magnetometer, proximity sensor, accelerometer and ambient light sensor are provided with the Coolpad Cool 3 Plus for the users’ convenience. While it is backed by a battery setup of 3,000mAh and has a thickness of 8.2mm.
