In December 2018, Coolpad launched three Mega smartphones, and now expanding its portfolio, Coolpad launched Coolpad Cool 3 in India. Coolpad Launched the Mega 5, Mega 5M and Mega 5C smartphones in India and the most expensive among them in the Coolpad Mega 5 which costs Rs 6,999. The Coolpad Cool 3 sports a water drop notch, a rear fingerprint sensor, a dual-SIM support and a dual camera setup at back. The smartphone runs on Android 9 Pie out of the box. The device features a 5.71-inch display and hold a 3,000mAh battery.
The new Coolpad Cool 3 costs Rs 5,999 in India. The smartphone will be available both online and offline in the country. The exact date of the release has not been announced yet.
As mentioned above, the smartphone will sport a water drop notch up front which has selfie camera and a chin at the bottom. At the back, the dual camera setup is vertically aligned and a rear fingerprint is also present for safety purpose. The power and volume buttons are on the right edge and the dual-SIM tray slides out from the left edge. The device also supports Face Unlock for security.

The Coolpad Cool 3 sports a 5.71-inch HD+ display with resolution 720 x 1500 pixels and runs on Android 9 Pie out of the box. The smartphone supports dual-SIM slots. It is powered by the 1.3GHz octa-core Unisoc processor coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage which can be expanded further up to 128GB via a microSD card slot.
In terms of optics, the smartphone at the back has dual camera setup- 8MP primary sensor with LED flash and a 0.3MP secondary sensor. Up front, the device has 5MP sensor for selfies and video calling. The Coolpad Cool 3 hold a 3,000mAh battery. The connectivity options of the smartphone includes 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1 and many more. The smartphone will be available in four color options- Midnight Blue, Ocean Indigo, Ruby Black and Teal Green.
