The tech world is booming with newer launches and now even Huawei the Chinese conglomerate has unveiled its new Android handset in two variants (one with 3G and one with 4G support) under the name Huawei Honor 5C in China. The device has been priced at CNY 899 (approx. INR 9000) for the 3G variant and it's 4G model has been evaluated for CNY 999 (approx. INR 10, 250). The company has listed no information as to when would the smartphone be made available outside the home country.
The Dual-SIM handset Honor 5C sports a 5.2-inch full -HD IPS LCD display giving a resolution of 1080x1920 pixels and operates on Emotion UI 4.1 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS fully supporting Micro-SIM cards as well. The Honor 5C LTE, on the other hand, gives 4G support on both of it's SIM cards and as per company the support is of LTE Cat. 6 that allows the device to give download speeds of up to 300Mbps and upload speeds of up to 50Mbps that can be of a great help to users who are constantly live on the internet. Under the hood, the GSM-handset is powered by company's self-designed HiSilicon Kirin 650 octa-core processor.
The smartphone comes with 2GB of RAM and packs 16GB of built-in storage which can be expanded via microSD card up to 128GB and on the photography end, the device sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with a f/2.0 aperture and LED flash coupled with an 8-megapixel front camera with f/2.0 aperture lens. Additionally, the presence of fingerprint scanner on the rear end adds up to the beauty of the device.
Apart from 4G support (as mentioned above), the smartphone also supports GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, GPS/ A-GPS, Glonass, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi connectivity options and comes with regular Micro-USB charging port. Dimensionally, it measures 147.1x73.8x8.3mm and carries a weight of 156 grams. It packs a 3000mAh battery.
