Huawei P Smart (2019) Launched in Japan as Huawei Nova Lite 3

In Japan, Huawei launched the new Nova Lite 3 smartphone in the market. The new smartphone is the variant of the Huawei P Smart (2019). Nova Lite 3 will go on sale in Japan from February 1, 2019. The device will cost JPY 26,880 (approx. Rs 17,500). According to the listing shared on the website of the company, the only similarity between Huawei P Smart (2019) and Huawei Nova Lite 3 is the inbuilt storage.

Price of the Huawei Nova Lite 3

The Nova Lite 3 will come in three color option- Aurora Blue, Midnight Black and Coral Red. The smartphone will come with the price sticker JPY 26,880 (approx. Rs 17,500) in Japan. Huawei has not yet disclosed their plans about introducing the smartphone outside Japan or it is going to be a Japan-exclusive.

As mentioned earlier, the new Nova Lite 3 smartphone is the variant of the Huawei P Smart (2019) which went on sale in UK in January with the price sticker EUR 249 (approx. Rs 20,300). The Huawei P Smart smartphone was offered in three color options- Sapphire Blue, AUrora Blue and Midnight Black.

Specifications of the new Nova Lite 3

The smartphone features a 6.21-inch full HD+ (1080x2340 pixel) display along with dewdrop-shaped notch. Huawei Nova Lite 3 is powered by octa-core Kirin 710 SoC along with 3GB RAM and 32GB ROM. There is no information about the availability of the microSD card slot in the device. The Huawei P Smart (2019) has hybrid dual-SIM card slot. So we can say that the Nova Lite 3 might too come with the same setup.

In terms of optics, the Huawei Nova Lite 3 has dual rear camera setup with 13MP primary sensor and a 2MP secondary sensor along with the detection autofocus support as an LED flash. In the front, the smartphone comes with a 16MP front shooter for selfies and video calling. The camera setup of the smartphone comes with AI (Artificial Intelligence) integration due to which the Nova Lite 3 can select the camera parameters based on the scenario to give out the best shot.

The Huawei Nova Lite 3 runs on EMUI 9.0.1 which is based on Android 9.0 Pie. In terms of connectivity, the smartphone has 4G LTE support with VoLTE compatibility, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB 2.0, Bluetooth 4.2 and dual-SIM (Nano) card slots. The smartphone also come with a 3,400mAh battery.
