Apple has recently partnered with HDFC Bank to lower the prices of several iPhone and iPad products by offering a cashback at offline stores in India. The offer will be applicable only on select Apple products and on purchases made through EMI option with HDFC Bank credit/debit cards. Under the offer, the company will offer a cashback of Rs. 7,000 on iPhone 6 and iPhone SE models and Rs. 10,000 on iPad models. The offer is only available through Apple authorized offline stores and from February 9 to February 14 (Valentine Week).
As per the latest news, the cashback offer is only available for two iPhone variants - iPhone 6 and iPhone SE. Both variants will be eligible for a cashback of Rs, 7,000 on the use of HDFC credit/debit card. The Apple iPhone SE (32GB) for which the current MOP is Rs. 22,000 in India, will be sold at an effective price of Rs. 15,000. The iPhone 6 will also go down to Rs. 20,000 from its current market price of Rs. 27,000.

As for iPad devices, Rs. 10,000 cashback offer is available for all iPad variants, including the iPad 9.7-inch (32GB) for which the current market price is Rs. 25,000. It means the device can be bought at an effective price of Rs. 15,000 under the cashback offer. The same offer is applicable to all iPad models at select stores only.
Note that this is a cashback offer and not a discount offer, and the buyer will have to pay the entire amount at the time of making the purchase. HDFC will send the cash back to your account as per the offer terms and conditions.
Also, note that the offer is even though applicable on the MOP, some retailers may choose to apply the cash back at the MRP of devices, which may vary the cashback amount you should receive. At present, the MRP of iPad 9.76-inch (32GB) is Rs. 28,000, the iPhone 6 is Rs. 29,500, and the iPhone SE is 26,000.
Under a different offer, HDFC Bank is also offering a cashback of up to Rs. 12,000 on some iPhone devices across authorized Apple retail stores only. The offer will end on March 11.
