The home-based smartphone manufacturing firm Karbonn Mobiles after the launching of Fashion Eye in July has now launched the new K9 Viraat smartphone in India. The smartphone is exclusively available on Snapdeal at a discounted price of Rs 4,799.

The main USP of the smartphone is it bundles with 3D apparatus and is available in Champagne and Black color variants.
As for the specifications, the new GSM enabled handset flaunts a 5.5-inch HD IPS display having a resolution of 720*1280 pixels. The 16M colors give a 294ppi of pixel density. On the software front, it runs on latest Android 6.0 based Marshmallow operating system out of the box. It is fueled by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM. The gadget offers an 8GB of inbuilt storage, that can be further expanded up to 64GB via microSD card slot expansion.
From the optics point of view, the Android-powered smartphone is loaded with a 5-megapixel camera at the rear end with self-autofocus and LED flashlight. It has the ability to record 1080p video 30fps. For the selfie purpose, it includes a 3.2-megapixel camera. Apart from this, for the connectivity, the device includes Wi-Fi, GPS, FM radio, Bluetooth, and Micro-USB port. Unfortunately, it does not support 4G.
Dimensionally, the dual SIM based device is measuring a 154x78.9x11.7mm and weighs around 173.4 grams. For the complete package, it is backed by a 2800mAh battery that claims to deliver 8 hours of talk time (on 2G), and 350 hours of standby time.
