LG G6 is on its way to getting launch later this month and the company has teased another feature of its upcoming flagship smartphone ahead of its launch. The South Korean manufacturer has now confirmed the availability of a 32-bit Hi-Fi Quad DAC (digital to analog converter) for enhanced audio playback. As a recall, LG initially used Quad DAC technology in its V20 handset, and now G6 will get an improved version of that.
So, LG G6 will arrive coupled with Quad DAC technology, which means it will support FLAC, DID, DIFF, and ALAC file formats and will provide clear sound by reducing ambient noise and distortion by up to 50 percent. The upcoming flagship model will also pack ESS technology, that has been the developer for a company specializes in audio products.
According to the company, the improved Quad DAC in G6 enhances circuit integration, decreases the negative distortion to 0.0002 percent, and minimizes the loss of acoustic information as well. Moreover, the new sound technology also allows users to effectively control the balance of left and right earphones separately along with the balance of sound.
It has already been confirmed that the LG flagship model will have a head start with Snapdragon 821 processor before the Samsung Galaxy S8 availability in the smartphone market. According to leaks and rumors, the company this time will ditch its traditional plastic body design and move towards a metallic structure. Additional highlighting features in the upcoming smartphone includes preloaded Google Assistant, dual rear camera setup, and waterproofing capability with IP68 certification.
