Oppo R15 and R15 Dream Edition were launched in China in March this year, it looks like that the Chinese tech giant is working on the successor of R15, likely to be called with R17. In an event which was conducted in China a few days ago where the company has teased the launch of Oppo R17 which pointing towards that the company would soon launch the successor of R15 in the China market.
Recently, the Chinese tipster Kumamoto Technology has posted the image of rumored Oppo R17 on Weibo which suggesting that the Chinese smartphone manufacturer is gearing to launch the Oppo R17. Further, the image likely to be captured at an Oppo-sponsored media event. Now, the smartphone has appeared on TENAA along with some key specifications and design of the upcoming smartphone.

According to TENAA Listings, the Oppo's upcoming R17 smartphone will bring a model number PBCM00 and PBCT00. We can clearly see in the photos that were appeared on TENAA that volume buttons are positioned on the left side, whereas power and sleep buttons are positioned on the right-hand side of the smartphone.
On the rear panel, an alleged Oppo R17 featuring a combination of two colors including black on the top and blue at the bottom side. On the top left side, we can see there are dual cameras along with an LED flash and a 3.5 mm headphone jack is placed on the bottom side. The disappointing thing is that there is no fingerprint scanner on the front and rear side but might get a facial recognition feature.
According to TENAA Listings, an alleged R17 most probably get a 6.4-inch display but the screen resolution and aspect ratio details are not available at the moment. It is speculated that Oppo R17 could be powered by a 3,415mAh battery. The tipster claimed that Oppo's upcoming smartphone is likely to get a larger 10GB of RAM in R17.
It is worth noting that the aforementioned specifications are based on the rumors and leaks, however, the actual specifications could be unveiled by the company at the official launch
