Xiaomi, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer would be unveiling the Redmi 6 at an event in Beijing, China on 12th June, an official teaser has been posted by Xiaomi on Chinese microblogging website Weibo which reveals the launch date of Redmi 6. Earlier this month, Redmi 6 was spotted on TENAA listings along with key specifications. Just after few months of launching Redmi 5, Redmi Note 5 and Redmi Note 5 Pro, as its successor Redmi 6 had started appearing on the internet just from the beginning of May. It is anticipated that the Chinese company would also unveil the other variants of Redmi 6 series most probably Redmi 6A, Redmi 6 Plus or Redmi Pro at the launch event. So far, it is not confirmed that how many variants of Redmi 6 series would be unveiled by the Chinese company at an event in China.

The company has posted an official poster on Weibo just one day after the official announcement made by the company which confirms that the successor of Redmi 5 would be coming on 12th June in Beijing, China.
To recall, a few days ago, three upcoming Redmi smartphones have appeared on TENAA listing with model numbers M1804C3DE, M1804C3CC, M1804C3CE likely to be dubbed as Redmi 6, Redmi 6A and currently we don’t know the name of the third model. As per TENAA Listings, the Redmi 6 is likely to feature a 5.45-inch display, 18:9 aspect ratio and a screen resolution of 720 x 1440 pixels and runs on Android 8.1 Oreo. The listing also reveals that the Redmi 6 could be powered by a 3000mAh battery. It is powered by an octa-core processor clocked at 2.0GHz most probably with Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC.
The Xiaomi upcoming smartphone with model number M1805D1SE was also spotted on TENAA listing likely to be dubbed as Redmi 6 Plus or Pro. As per the image which was posted on TENAA suggest that the smartphone has a vertically positioned dual-rear cameras and a notch on the top of the display. It is rumored that smartphone features a 5.84-inch full-HD+ display along with 19:9 aspect ratio. It would be powered by an unnamed octa-core processor, clocked at 2GHz. It is anticipated that the Redmi 6 Plus or Redmi 6 Pro would be equipped with 2GB/ 3GB/ 4GB RAM along with 16GB/ 32GB/ 64GB inbuilt storage. In terms of optics, the rumored Redmi smartphone packs a 12-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Under the hood, it could be powered by a 4000mAh battery.
An official poster/ image of rumored Redmi 6 has been shared by Xiaomi’s president Lin Bin revealing the front side of the upcoming smartphone and indicating us how the smartphone looks like in terms of design. However, the image looks similar to that recently was appeared on TENAA listings which to be said as Redmi 6A.
The recently shared poster of the Redmi 6 suggest that the smartphone would be arriving with a full- screen display but the notch is missing on it which has been adopted by various smartphone manufacturer players in the industry. The smartphone would be sporting wide bezels around the four- corners.
An official poster suggests that the Redmi 6 will have a single camera on the front side which would be accompanied by an LED flash for capturing brighter selfies during low-light conditions. As per the official poster, we can see that the volume and power keys are positioned on the right-hand side of the smartphone. The fingerprint sensor is likely to be positioned on the rear panel and the smartphone would have Face Unlock Feature.
