Xiaomi, the renowned smartphone manufacturer launched various affordable smartphones during this year such as Redmi 5, Redmi Note 5 and Redmi Note 5 Pro and right now working on numerous budget segment smartphone such as Mi Max 3 is likely to be unveiled sometime in July 2018. Earlier this month, the Redmi 6 and Redmi 6A were spotted on TENAA listing along with key specifications. Currently, the new Xiaomi smartphone with the model number M1805D1SG spotted on Singapore certification site likely to be dubbed as Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite. Previously, the same model number was appeared on TENAA listings, though it was rumored to be dubbed as Redmi 6 and the new Xiaomi smartphone has appeared on Singapore certification website with the name Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite.

Xiaomi Mi 6X which was launched in China on 25th April expected to be remodified as Xiaomi Mi A2 when it would unveil in India. It is speculated that the Chinese company would soon launch the Mi 6X as Mi A2 in India.
As per the TENAA Listing, Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite will bear a 5.84-inch full HD+ display, screen resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels and 18:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone would come with a 2.5D curved glass on the top and it protects the smartphone from breaking and damaging. The newly launched Xiaomi Mi 8 comes with a notch on the top and it seems that Mi A2 Lite would feature a similar notch.
In terms of hardware, the Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite will be embedded with an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC with Adreno 506 GPU. The smartphone will be equipped with 2GB/ 3GB/4GB RAM and 16GB/32GB/64GB internal storage.
In terms of optics, the Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite is likely to feature a vertically stacked dual rear camera comprises a 12- megapixel primary camera and we don’t know the specifications of the secondary camera. For the selfie snapper, the smartphone would get a 5- megapixel front-facing camera. Under the hood, it would be powered by a larger 4,000mAh battery.
In terms of connectivity, the Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite will have 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/, Bluetooth 5, GPS and a 3.5mm audio jack. It is anticipated that fingerprint sensor would be positioned on the rear side of the smartphone. However, currently, we don’t know the pricing and availability of the smartphone but expected to be unveiled soon.
