Samsung, the South- Korean giant has been continuously working to offer affordable smartphones in the Indian market. Furthermore, Samsung main aims to capture the wide market of India by offering durable smartphones to customers along with impressive features, modern hardware and advanced technologies in its new pair of offerings.
Currently, Samsung has launched two new smartphones in its Galaxy J- series, dubbed as Galaxy J6 + and the Galaxy J4 +. Both smartphones have a glossy glass finish with side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
Users will be able to Install Apps on SD Card on their new phones. Lastly, the new Emotify feature coupled with the colorful bright display promises an immersive social media and digital entertainment experience.

USP of the both the new handsets is the 6-inch HD Infinity Display with 18:9 aspect ratio. Both handsets come powered by Snapdragon 425 SoC and 3,300mAh battery unit. Under the hood, the dual-SIM smartphones run on Android 8.1 Oreo.
Another noteworthy feature of both the new releases is the Widevine L1 certification to ensure non-piracy of high quality digital content by streaming services like Netflix. Another highlight is the Emotify feature using which J6+ and J4+ can now get digital avatars to make user’s social media experience more fun. Also the Emotify feature will support 22 Indian languages.
The Samsung Galaxy J4 Plus bears a 6-inch HD+Infinity Display with 720x1480 pixels resolution and 18.5:9 aspect ratio. It ships with Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box.
Under the hood, there is Snapdragon 425 SoC which clocks at 1.4GHz. For storing content, the company has offered 2GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage.
In terms of photography, as expected, the Galaxy J4+ comes with a single 13-megapixel rear camera offering an aperture of f/1.9 along with an LED flash. Up front, the smartphone has 5-megapixel selfie snapper with an aperture of f/2.2.
The Galaxy J4 Plus has a 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS, GLONASS, single-band Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, NFC (depending on the different markets), and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The smartphone is equipped with an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, and proximity sensor. It is armed with a 3,300mAh battery, though the fast charging information is not available at the moment. It measures 161.4x76.9x7.9mm and weighs 178 grams.
The Samsung Galaxy J6+ features a similar 6-inch HD+ Infinity Display offers 18.5:9 aspect ratio and the screen resolution of 720x1480 pixels. The smartphone has been equipped with Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box.
It is powered by Snapdragon 425 SoC which clocked at 1.4GHz coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB inbuilt storage.
As expected, the J6 Plus comes with dual cameras on the rear panel consisting of a 13-megapixel primary sensor and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor with an aperture lens of f/1.9 and f/2.2 respectively. For selfies and video calling, the smartphone gets an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with an aperture lens of f/1.9.
The connectivity option on the Samsung Galaxy J6 Plus includes 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth v4.2,single-band Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, NFC, GLONASS, GPS, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The Galaxy J6+ comes with an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, the geomagnetic sensor, gyroscope, a proximity sensor, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
The battery back up of J6 Plus is 3,300mAh. The dimensions are 161.4x76.9x7.9mm and weigh 178 grams which is similar to J4 Plus.
The Samsung Galaxy J4+ will come with a price tag of Rs. 10,990 and be available in three color variants Black, Blue, and Gold. The J6+ will however be priced slightly higher at Rs. 15,990 and will offer a red variant along with Black and Blue.
