Samsung W2018 Flip Phone Launched in China

The Samsung W2018 flip phone comes with a dual 4.2-inch Full-HD AMOLED displays, the first one is placed on the inner and another one is placed on outside the phone. The W2018 flip phone is powered by a Snapdragon 835 processor coupled with 6GB RAM, with options of 64GB or 256GB internal storage capacity.

The Samsung W2018 packs a 2,300 mAh battery, and a USB type-C port for charging and transferring files. It also has a dual-sim card slot capable of dual-standby. It runs on Android Nougat 7.1 Out of the box. The Samsung W2018 featuring a 3D glass and metal design. It is available in two color options – Gold and Silver

In terms of optics, the W2018 comes with a 12MP rear camera, the company claims that the smartphone has a widest aperture camera at an aperture of f/1.5. It's quite interesting that the rear camera of the smartphone can switch between f/1.5 and f/2.4, it totally depends on the light, you are capturing or shooting. The rear camera featuring an optical image stabilisation and 4K Video recording at 30fps. Additionally, the camera is similar to a Samsung Galaxy S8 series. The W2018 has a 5MP selfie camera fitted with an aperture of 1.9 lens. The Samsung flip phone featuring a Samsung’s voice assistant – Bixby along with the support of Chinese language.

So far, the price of Samsung W2018 has not been disclosed by the company, it is anticipated that the W2018 Flip Phone will be available at a price of CNY 15,999 (approximately Rs 156,179) for the base variant. The company has not launched the flip phone first time in China. To recall, this year in August, the company had launched SM-G9298 along with attractive features and specifications.
