Sony has launched the budgeted Xperia L3 alongside with an ultra-tall, 21:9 CinemaWide display and HDR supported- Sony Xperia 1 and "super mid-range" family -Xperia10 & Xperia 10 Plus smartphones, at MWC 2019 in Barcelona.
The new Sony Xperia 1, an heir to the Xperia XZ3 is proclaimed to be the world's first 4K OLED phone. It comes with a triple rear camera setup, powered by an Eye AF technology and supports up to 10 fps burst shooting with AF/ AE tracking. The Xperia 1 ensures the delivery of a professional-level colour accuracy with its preloaded creator mode feature. The smartphone promises amazing gaming experience on the large screen and has Dolby Atmos integration to provide a surround sound experience.
Its ultra-tall CinemaWide display that works with an all-new multi-window UI makes it unique and give an edge over the iPhone XS coming at INR 96,900, Samsung Galaxy S10 INR 66,900, and LG G8 ThinQ.
The Sony Xperia 1 accosts the photography lovers with a Dual photodiode technology which rapid and effortless autofocus even in low light conditions.The camera supports Optical SteadyShot technology and features Cinema Pro mode hence known for its CineAlta brand.
The Sony Xperia L3 comes with a 5.7-inch HD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection, a dual rear camera setup, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and a 3,300mAh battery.It is powered by the MediaTek MT6762 Helio P22 octa-core processor paired with 3GB RAM & Internal storage of 32GB expandable upto 512GB using a micro SD card slot.
The Sony Xperia connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth v5, NFC, USB Type-C, Google Cast, and more. Sensors on board include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, digital compass, hall sensor, magnetometer, step counter, step detector, significant motion detector, and proximity sensor.

Xperia 10 and 10 Plus are a mixed bag of similarities and differences. With the former mostly prevailing. The "super mid-range" pair has a side-mounted fingerprint reader,followed by a separate power button. Both Xperia 10 models have an extra-tall and pretty skinny panel. The main difference between the two being diagonal.
Sony Xperia 10 trades a 6-inch full-HD + display with 21:9 aspect ratio, powered by the Snapdragon 630 SoC paired with 3GB RAM and Internal storage of 64GB further expandable upto 512 GB via microSD card slot.
The Sony Xperia 10 packs a 2,870mAh battery. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth v5.0, NFC, USB Type-C, Google Cast, and more. Sensors on board include Accelerometer, eCompass, magnetometer, ambient light sensor, hall sensor, step counter, step detector, significant motion detector, and proximity sensor. The phone supports high-resolution audio (Supported audio formats: LPCM, FLAC, ALAC, DSD), DSEE HX, LDAC, SmartAmplifier, Virtual Phones Technology, Stereo Recording, and Qualcomm aptX HD audio.
Camera of both Sony Xperia L3 and Xperia 10 greets a 13-megapixel wide-angle sensor and features bokeh effect, hybrid autofocus, and 4x digital zoom.
The Xperia 10 Plus is similar to the Xperia 10, but a bit larger and slightly more powerful. It comes in the 6-inch display for a 6.5-inch one and keeps the Full HD+ resolution. Inside the phone, you’ll discover a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor, combined with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, with a MicroSD card slot.
The battery on the device is somewhat bigger, sitting in at 3,000mAh, and it charges through a USB-C port. The Xperia 10 and Xperia 10 Plus exhibit larger displays and better processors than the Xperia L3, and sit in the mid-range segment. The Sony Xperia 1, on the other hand, is a flagship phone with a Snapdragon 855 processor and a 4K HDR OLED display.
The starting price of Xperia 1 is EUR 799 (roughly Rs. 74,200) and will be available in US from late Spring in Black and Purple colour options. The new model in the global markets will arrive in Black, Grey, Purple, and White colour. Sony Xperia L3 will be available in three colours - Black, Gold, and Silver.
The price is not yet declared. The Xperia 10 and Xperia 10 Plus will go on sale in the US on March 18 where Sony Xperia 10 price will be available at $349.99 (roughly Rs. 24,800) in Black, Navy Blue, Pink, and Silver colours. And The Sony Xperia 10 Plus will be available at $429.99 (roughly Rs. 30,500) in Black, Gold, Navy Blue, and Silver colours.
