The Next Cyanogen OS Smartphone of Micromax Named as Yu Yuphoria

After gaining a tremendous response by bringing a feature-rich Cyanogen OS based smartphone: Yu Yureka, the homegrown mobile maker: Micromax has appeared in various tidings with rumors related to next Yu branded handset, which had been codenamed as Project Caesar. And now, the joint venture of Cyanogen Inc. and Micromax: Yu Televentures has finally unveiled that next-iteration of corporation will be baptized as Yuphoria.

Notably, this subsidiary of domestic firm started a crowd-sourcing campaign on March 31, called "#YUNameIt" to select the name of next-gen Yu phone. In this program, interested folks participated to suggest the moniker for this upcoming device and they could only submit their entries till April 3. It is quite interesting that corporation received over 100,000 entries, out of which firm had selected top five names: Yuphoria, Yuknight, Yunicorn, Yunity and Youth.

And finally, Yuphoria has managed to win a great number of votes from people to be the official name of Micromax's unannounced heir. During the occasion of naming expedition, corporation has stated that "The name YUPHORIA represents zeal, enthusiasm and passion which reflects what YU is committed to bringing to the consumers through innovating and reinventing technology."

As yet, a detailed information about the internal hardware of mobile phone is unknown, but previous sources are suggesting that handset will run on highly customized version of CyanogenMod operating system, CM OS 12 based on Android Lollipop. Well, Yu Yureka has brought a good revenue for this Indian brand as well as its subservient has clearly suggested that its successor will also bring a record-breaking earning for organization by giving a statement that "after the enormous success of its first device YUREKA, Project Caesar is the next big thing to watch out for from YU and who better than the tech-enthusiasts to pick the name for it."
