On 12 February 2019, Vivo has disclosed a subdivision with the name iQoo in China similar to other companies like ZTE, Huawei, and Xiaomi. There is very little information about the new iQoo sub-brand, but it can be speculated that Vivo will hold a higher price segment and will choose a specific consumer same like other smartphone manufacturers. There are a lot of sub-brand companies due to which many a time, the customer cannot differentiate between the sub-brands and the actual brands.

As per the reports, the iQoo sub-brand by Oppo will be same like as the Poco and Redmi by Xiaomi, Honor by Huawei, Zuk by Lenovo and Nubia by ZTE. The teaser teased by the Chinese Smartphone maker does not hint to any of the information. The teaser gives a futuristic feel so by this it is assumed that the iQoo sub-brand has been created for 5G only and the flagship smartphones which costs approx. CNY 5,000 (around Rs 53,000). There is no proof about the speculation so it is just assumed without any proof and the company has not yet disclosed about the iQoo products.
Few days ago, Vivo had aldo disclosed that they have upgraded the brand logo and ‘Vivo Blue’ color with a new look.
