After months of speculations, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer company has finally launched the Vivo X21 with the under- display fingerprint scanner in India. To recall, the Chinese company launched the Vivo X21 in two variants - the regular Vivo X21 and Vivo X21 UD, the latter variant comes with an invisible fingerprint scanner. It is the first smartphone to be available in the Indian market that comes with under- display fingerprint scanner which will be available for purchase exclusively at Flipkart throughout the country. Vivo X21 is compatible with Android P Beta update that was unveiled by Google a month ago. The users can see the live streaming of Vivo X21 at company official website and official YouTube and Facebook page. In India, the Chinese company launched the Vivo X21 UD as Vivo X21 along with under- display fingerprint sensor.

In India, the Vivo X21 has been priced at Rs 35,990 as we mentioned above that the smartphone is available for purchase exclusively at Flipkart and the sale begins from 29th May (today) itself. Currently, the smartphone is available in Black color variant only, whereas the Gold color variant will arrive later in India.
The Vivo X21 flaunts a 6.28-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED display, 19:9 aspect ratio and a screen resolution of 1080x2280 pixels. It runs on top of line Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box customized with FunTouch OS 4.0.The smartphone has Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC with Adreno 512 GPU. It is equipped with 6GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage with an option to extend further up to 256GB by using a memory card.
In terms of optics, the Vivo X21 comes with vertically stacked dual-rear cameras which includes 12-megapixel primary camera with an aperture rate of f/1.8 and 5-megapixel secondary camera with an aperture rate of f/2.4 and LED flash. At the front, the smartphone has a notch on the top of the display similar to Apple iPhone X that boasts 12-megapixel selfie camera with an aperture of f/2.0, featuring IR fill light, 3D mapping, and Face Wake facial recognition.
In terms of connectivity, the Vivo X21 has dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11ac, 4G VoLTE, USB 2.0 with OTG support, Bluetooth 5.0 and GPS. Sensors on the board include an ambient light sensor, under display fingerprint sensor, gyroscope, accelerometer and proximity sensor. It weighs 156.2 grams and measures 154.5x74.8x7.4mm. Under the hood, the Vivo X21 gets a 3200mAh battery along with fast charging support.
