At the official launch, the company offered Xiaomi Mi 8 SE in 4GB/ 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage variants, now the company has launched the high- end i.e., 128GB high- end variant of Mi 8 SE. Xiaomi Mi 8, Mi 8 SE, MI TV, MI Band 3 were launched by Xiaomi this year in May to commemorate its 8th anniversary.

The high- end variant brings the similar set of specifications that regular Xiaomi Mi 8 SE. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor and runs on top of the line Android Oreo skinned with MIUI.
It has a 5.88-inch AMOLED display and having a notch on the top its display which houses front camera, speakers and traditional sensors.
In terms of lens, the Xiaomi Mi 8 SE has dual cameras on the rear panel which consists of 12 MP primary and 5 MP secondary sensors bundled with an LED flash, HDR and panorama mode. Up front, there is a 20 MP selfie camera with an aperture of f/2.0 and 1.0µm.
The Xiaomi Mi 8 SE, 128GB variant comes with a price tag of CNY2,299 and the disappointing part is that the newly launched variant is available only in Gray color, however, the remaining three Blue, Red, Gold colors are not available at the moment in 128GB variant.
According to a report, it is speculated that the Xiaomi will launch the Xiaomi Mi 8 SE as Mi 8i in India most probably in August month, which is budget segment smartphone that was launched in China in the previous month.
It must be noted that the Xiaomi Mi 8 SE is currently available for purchase only in the China market. To recall, the Mi 8 SE went on sale from 8th of June in the China market.
