Asus has also been appearing in the smart wearable market with its first smartwatch ZenWatch. The Taiwanese giant has posted a teasing video of its first smartwatch which is giving the indication of its launching at IFA 2014. Company has also claimed that their wearable would be one of the attraction points among the products which will showcase at IFA.
Asus has announced that the watch will be powered by Android Wear and will be showcased on September 3. The video consisting the launch detail along with a shaded look of ZenWatch. Focus Taiwan has reported that Asus CEO, Shen has revealed the price of the gadget ahead of the release. It is expected to come at the price of $199 (Approx. Rs. 12,000) or below.
It is speculated that ZenWatch will come equip with voice recognition feature which will be using English language initially, later it will be come with other language support. It is expected that device will reach in market to sale in October. It is also said that the Chinese language support will also be added in the wearable gadget by end of the year. However, it will first release for US market.
It will be compatible with any Android smartphone and can be connected with this device using Bluetooth. It is also expected that few other smart wearables will also be moving to Berlin to launch including LG G Watch R, Samsung Gear S, Moto 360 and many others. If the recent report is to be believed, then at the price of $199, it would be the most affordable smartwatch among all with Android wear platform support.
