To maintain the royalty and legacy, Motorola has come out with its ritzy smartwatch, Moto 360. People are thirstily waiting for the smartwatch to tie on their wrist, has finally gone official in Delhi at its launch event which has also brought much anticipated Moto X (Gen 2) and Moto G (Gen 2). It’s been a while when people wear an ordinary watch to be updated with time. But, now the watch has been updated with time and has been added in the era of technology. Moto 360 is the one in this pipeline with several other smart wearables like Samsung Gear S and Sony Smartwatch 3, LG G Watch R and many others.
This wearable will hit the US market at the price tag of $250 (Approx Rs. 15,000) which would be not a big amount to spend on a smartwatch which is loaded with a huge list of features. Motorola said that the watch will be reached in the Indian market later this month. However, there is no price details is available for the same.
The Moto 360 with black leather and a limited edition gray leather finish will begin its sale in US which can be found on Motorola's website, Google Play and Best Buy. This Android Wear powered wearable gadget will also come in metallic finish but later this year. The retro and classic looks give it a royal appearance. This can be paired with smartphones, having Android 4.3 Jelly Bean or above.
It gets a 1.56-inch backlit LCD display, offering 320x290 pixels resolution and comes protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 coating. Its circular display and dial make it more classy and retro. 1.5mm thick device will be available in two models; one will be comprised with light stainless steel case and gray Horween leather strap and the second one will have dark stainless steel case and black Horween leather strap. Metal bands and Leather bands will also be reaching in market to sale separately at the price of $79.99 and $29.99 respectively.
Moto 360 can go for a full day with its 320mAh battery and also comes with wireless charging option. It is equipped with TI OMAP 3 processor and uses 512MB RAM and 4GB of built-in storage. Bluetooth 4.0 for connectivity purpose and an optical heart rate monitor (PPG) for health tracking are also embedded in this smartwatch. The IP67 certification makes it water resistant device. Single physical button, a vibration motor, and dual microphones are few more features, bundled in this gadget to offer luxury with technology.
