After launching a sports watch: Ironman One GPS+ in October, the noted watch maker: Timex has made a come back in the market of smart wearable devices by announcing a new timepiece: Ironman Run X50+. Notably, gadget has been specially designed for fitness-enthusiasts and it is equipped with a plenty of attributes.
To be an ideal fitness-oriented watch, Run X50+ also includes some smartwatch functionality, where it can be paired with iOS and Android-based handsets by using Bluetooth. Here, users can control music, receive texts, incoming calls, emails, notifications from social networking sites and it has ability to notify the consumers for upcoming appointments from smartphone calendar via vibrations or audio alerts.
Just like the well-known smartwatches: Samsung Gear S, LG G Watch R and many more, novel quest of Timex can be connected with smartphone fitness apps and display fitness data as well as controls workout information. Well, wrist-worn only supports selected iOS apps as yet and currently it is congruent with iOS 7.1-based iDevices such as iPhone, iPad, iPod touch and with later versions of iOS 7.1.
Incorporating Phone-finder and Watch-finder features, new member of Ironman family has water-resistant build, whereby it can be submerged into 50 meters deep water and houses INDIGLO night-light with NIGHT-MODE and constant-on options. Powered by a rechargeable Li-Ion battery, gadget delivers 2-3 days of lifespan. Interestingly, timepiece bears a sunlight-readable high resolution display, which has also been claimed as a reversible display with multiple options for time of day screen.
