What it brings and what it receives? All are just few words away from the grasp. Let’s begin with the WatchKit, a development kit for developers to create their own apps for the Apple Watch. As it was rumoured earlier that the wearable will support third party applications now has been proved correct with the release of WatchKit.
An initiative step by Cupertino based tech giant is meant for developers to help them in creating apps which would be compatible with the Watch. Through this, custom notifications, custom watch faces and home screen apps can be developed.
Few renowned Industries are in the line to develop their apps to bring automation through Apple Watch. Starwood Hotel, American Airlines and many others have taken the first step to bring their stand-alone apps. BMW is working on an app which can find the location of your car. The app will also allow you to check the charging status and also inform you that whether the doors are locked or not.
On the other side, Starwood Hotel is also creating its app to unlock the hotel room’s door by simply waving the new Watch in front of the door lock. The demo for the third party app has been presented on stage by Apple VP, Kevin Lynch. American Airlines is also in the mood to create its app to make the Apple’s new Watch worthy for them.
A transit app, City Mapper is also there to show the transportation for a specific location and many more. This is not the end for the Apple watch, Twitter and Pinterest are here also to tweet and pin the location wherever you are. And, the Pinterest which acts more like a reminder for you will let you remind for the place when you are closer to one you have pinned. The story is all about the WatchKit. Now, wait for 2015 to come, if you are thinking to create one for the Apple Watch.
